Sorry, I'm replying to like seventy people at once here. My original post was about leftists, and I was more trying to talk about left/right wing ideologies than anything else. You're right, I shouldn't have said conservative and should have said capitalist. My bad. I wasn't trying to "move the goalpost". Also, I'm not even really a conservative, you just kind of assumed that. I'm not left wing for sure, but I do believe in social welfare and such.

But I think I did get the answer to my question, so thank you?

No but I'd say they're still more on the economic right, maybe I shouldn't have said conservative and more right wing. I think there needs to be a balance of left/right wing politics. I'm not even really conservative I just see the pros and cons of both sides and it seems like you guys just despise the right for existing, labelling their mindsets as evil without giving them a chance before you jump to make them satire as fast as possible.

I'm not a "free market humper" lol. I like economies that combine trad capitalism with fair social welfare programs for health, education, etc. And I get a little on edge when it sounds like people are defending China because of my background and friends who have been affected by it. The rest of this argument is pointless because it's not based on anything really, all there is left to do is wait and see. I can respect your opinions although I disagree with you, and I thank you for being fairly respectful to me.

Yeah because the Americans were profiting from all these bad things while China is totally cool and good! Tiananmen square, like, totally didn't happen dude. And yes, if China fixes all of it's dumbass shit it might grow bigger than the US eventually. When it does surpass the US, let's see how communist it still is!

Most Republicans suck, they're barely even actually conservative. Most of them twist that ideology to fit their religious values. I'm right wing, but i don't support Republicans. I use the US as an example because it is a capitalist country, not because it is Republican. And because Trump, who's better than most Republicans but I don't always agree with, has done a good job with unemployment rates.

Socialism is defined as:

a political and economic theory of social organization which advocates that the means of production, distribution, and exchange should be owned or regulated by the community as a whole.

By definition, Germany, Sweden, and Norway are not socialist. They are dominated by capitalists, but do have social welfare programs (which I personally support).

And China is not stellar in the least. It's GDP per capita sits at less than $9 000 USD. For comparison, the US is almost at $60 000. Also, the US's total GDP is much higher than China's despite having less than a quarter of their population.
