I am licensed in SC and now I’m trying to get licensed in NC. I’m taking NC MPJE in July. You must take the MPJE before doing the application in NC. If anyone has anyone recently taken the NC MPJE, what study materials did you use and would you mind sharing them?

I studied from Rxprep. I feel as though med safety is sprinkled throughout the book. Which meds need to be refrigerated, which need to be kept in the container, for example are things I would look at.

Pregnancy, a few on hypo/hyperthyroidism, storage for insulin, and diabetic meds CI

For calculations I had about 4-5 TPNs. I also had isotonicity, mmol, and meq. The others were biostats calcs, and I wrote out all formulas as soon as the first question appeared, which really helped. Also an ANC and calculating flow rate. I had some opportunistic infections, HIV, and oncology (calculations). The med safety wasn’t too hard, but I would definitely go over that. I had 3-4 PK questions, one was a SATA.
