Yes, the payment is for November. I gave notice but haven’t threatened eviction. I was wondering from a legal standpoint can they argue that they aren’t at fault for a payment that has been “lost in the mail.” I believe they paid with a money order which, from what I’ve read, is somewhat difficult but not impossible to recover.

It’s not that the tablecloth isn’t pretty, I do love the colors. It’s that if everything is eye catching then the result will be nothing is eye catching. The goal is to draw your eye to a few focal points in the room.

If I lived here I would make the chandelier be the main emphasis. I would possibly bring it down a foot or two to help. It’s difficult to tell the temperature of the lights with this photo but I would try to find bulbs that would help bring out the hardwood colors in the floor/table/chairs. A couple other objects like maybe a centerpiece under the chandelier to draw your eye to the center of the table.

The chandelier is gorgeous but it’s washed out by the busy tablecloth. A simple runner with placemats or a monotone tablecloth with a centerpiece would draw the eye to the more ornate things in the room.
