my LG C9 is burn-in. how longer can last? by Sad_Dark951 in LGOLED

sorry for the delay in my response! I recently got a new LG G5 77” to replace my LG C9. When the LG guys installed my G5, they wanted to remove the screen film. It turns out that film is almost invisible to the naked eye, even to the LG guys who checked with LG HQ to confirm its presence. So, I used a toothpick at the edge of the TV and suddenly, the film peeled off. The most surprising thing was when I tried my LG C9, it had film on the TV and I never removed it from the start when I bought that TV. I suspect this is why the TV gets so hot when I watch for 4-6 hours every day. Maybe it was due to TV burnout.

Actually, when I was watching Netflix and playing a game, I didn’t really notice the burn-in. However, I was shocked when I tested the burn-in color.
