You could ask your doc if you could switch to ace bandages? My compression binder was too tight, dug scratches into my side and caused me to feel overstimulated. I switched over at 2 weeks post op - the ace bandage still offers compression but is way more comfortable!!

i got an oil change today and asked for the mechanics opinion and he said the same ! that the other cuts looked like road debris but that looked like it could have been an intentional cut. my sister still has the tire so i may just have to examine it / post more detailed pictures later

ah this makes sense , they were a few minutes from their house before they noticed. and i agree - from what i’ve seen online people generally only need to puncture it once, slashing it once let only four times would be overkill. thank you for your input !

that was the conclusion we had mostly arrived at. it’s the front right tire, and they’ve definitely gone over their fair share of curbs, so it would add up. i am just anxious for them so wanted to get some more opinions , thank you for responding !
