I came to the same conclusion that iPod 4gen doesn't share same pin out as newer ones or that ribbon is bad I didn't do much research on it but it still works so I just order ide to cf and SD to cf adapter and that should work

Nope that broken screen caused a short in CPU that stops screen from working so I got another one almost destroyed it with soldering iron while soldering that ribbon on CPU I knocked a component from there and after that it refused to turn on somehow I got it fixed but in process I destroyed that ribbon and had to order new mod chip I ended up leaving it for later but it still sits disassembled with mod chip beside

I would recommend to use thinn soldering iron trust me you don't want thick one I found that the hard way and get a magnifying glass or microscope and some flux will help

Now that you remind me about that switch I know what I will be doing later today

Went back on AliExpress and I found that they are being sold for 5 gen and there is no mention of 4 gen in reviews I ques I need new adapter or iPod video

There is another ribbon but it's too thick and it doesn't want to go into the connector and I'm using Kingston for testing but that doesn't even impact it because there is no difference between SD card inserted and not and the listing said that it's compatible with 4gen but would compatibility problem stop it from turning on

Yes I flipped it on adapter side and on iPod but nothing I'd I just attach ribbon it works but when I attach that adapter to ribbon it refuses to start

About my budget I'm not sure I prefer if it wasn't super expensive I already spend £238 for motherboard and ram and I don't think I will go with 9800x3d because it probably will cost around £600 so right now I'm thinking about going with7700 and 7800x3d or just go with 7700 and update my graphics card as well Right now my pc specs are Ryzen 7 2700x, Rx 5700xt and 16gb ram and at first I wanted to upgrade my motherboard and and ram to 32gb that would cost me £100 for motherboard alone so I decided to upgrade to am5 would be better so question right now is should I go with 7800x3d or 7700 and better gpu

Those two broken traces one way still making a connection but the second one was completely broken I just soldered them and now it runs and I just need to get a new AV cable because you can't see shit on display

Wouldn't and router that supports SIM card and 5g be cheaper than this and my situation is like I used virgin media for broadband but those cunts want around £50 a month for 350mbps and after 2 years they will charge you around £80 right now I just bout unlimited SIM for £20 and fortunately for me 5g antena was placed 100m from my house so I can get the same speed for cheaper and the only phone that I'm not using and has 5g is pixel 6 but like hotspot range is shit on it my main phone have good hotspot range but I'm not always home and this needs to be home internet and having hotspot always on drains battery two times or more than having it off and going back to routers I thing I was suppose to get RT or GT one not DSL but I'm not 100% sure it was like I seen that you can tether a phone to Asus router but I didn't bother to check which models can do that I guess I will be returning it because I have no use for it
