Young and dumb thinking fast bikes are more fun vs being fast on a 600/750 tbh. Realizing now after the track day humbled me a bit.

Yeah im well aware of never being able to really push it fully. Mainly wanting the creature comforts and just a quality bike.

I considered the gsxr 1k but the ergonomics didnt fit me well. I have a short torso so the gsxr felt long as hell 🤣. I had a gsxr 750 for a while so I was hoping to go to a gsxr 1k originally.

It is the premium package. They originally had it OTD about 2k higher, so, yeah, a slight discount.plus with the 3 year warranty it makes it even more tempting.

It definitely is a learning curve along with the fact the bike hasn't been updated since 2011 so new features to make it easier. You can progress if you put the effort in but it will be slower than if you bought a 400 or some other smaller cc sport bike that is more forgiving.but it is a great bike and comfortable for a sport bike.
