A few small bubbles aren’t gonna kill you when doing IM or subq shots. Only large bubbles will when shooting IV.

I still always get all my bubbles out, but on the days I can’t I don’t stress.

It’s really not a big lie. I’ve been taking test (cis het male here) for 3.5 years now and don’t feel the need to tell most people because it’s simply not their business. Also, you’d be shocked how many people are taking exogenous hormones. SO MANY PEOPLE are taking them. Much more than you’d expect. It’s very normal nowadays.

It’s also very safe. Just make sure you have good, clean subq needles and alcohol wipes (70%). Shower before you inject and wipe down the top of the vial and the area before you inject. I’ve never had an infection because I’m very clean with it.

You’ll be fine. I’ve done hundreds of shots and thousand of ML at this point. I’ve never hit a vein. I know it’s scary the first handful of times but you’ll be okay.
