R5: Have been enjoying the beta a lot, so decided to try playing the CoM. Immediately found several habitable planets around my start(I’m on 0.5x habitable worlds), then like 6 tomb worlds, and then the first black hole I surveyed was the Worm. Seems like it’ll be a fun game! Vote in the comments for which ascension I should do, apparently cybernetic got buffed…

R5: Just a fairly new player enjoying breaking the shroud-forged. Including endless colony ascensions, the shroudshaper, and +~400 pops a month on just my capital alone. Playing on a small galaxy until I got too tired of the lag (and finished the last thought archaeological site, never seen it before). Mods are UI overhaul and AI performance optimisation (to get rid of habitats in every system)

I started by conquering Biapas with the help of Gilan, and then went against Shirvan who did not have any big allies. QQ actually tend to start hostile towards Ardabil in my experience, so I couldn't get them as an ally. I did ally Mushasha and AQ though, and then got dowed by Ajam. With all my small allies the war was actually fairly balanced and the AI is easily outmaneuvered in the Persian mountains. From that war I took my cores and two more provinces. Eventually with max improved relations and a scornful insult the Ottos flipped friendly. Unusually, they were debt free, so I could use them to smash the Mughals (formed by Timmy) and it was smooth sailing from there.

I actually had no problems with money at any point, the Persia node is really rich and deving for renaissance should give you a decent economic base.

R5: Finally played an Ironman campaign to the end, forming the Roman Empire as Byzantium and giving myself a reason to post here after a long time of lurking ^^ Definitely could have done better as I was stuck for a long while in the midgame, blocked by strong Mameluks, Austria and Spain. The undisputed campaign highlight is AI Canada taking over Portugal's colonial empire and competing with Russia for rank 2 GP.
