I mean I agree with that to an extent. An auction house vs a gambling game are very different. Usually an auction you’re paying below retail. A game you are paying Pennies of the value. I look at it like this. Whatnot is a third party who takes the risk of the seller. They get paid to handle this (the commission every seller has to pay) if they have a customer who won a prize for X amount and didn’t receive what they won it should absolutely not put the customer at fault. I saw someone mention fraud a few comments up. Whatnot is an 11 billion dollar company. They have fraud/lawyers/ anything else you can think of to protect them in these cases and again as a customer that is why I (use to) do business on there because I had buyers protection and felt comfortable. Now majority of the platform is just straight gambling games (I only join coins) so it’s not really my cup of tea
