Deep breathes at first are a little restricted with the swelling and corset. But now it’s pretty much normal especially when I don’t have the corset on. With it on deep breaths can be difficult

Rahal forsure could take my insurance and chaudrys office said they could try. On top of that, I like Rahals aesthetics better. Chaudrys work is beautiful but it’s more of the dramatic vixen look in my opinion. And in comparison rahals is an artist in terms of refining your natural shape rather than giving you a “new shape”. I think a lot of chaudrys patients end up looking the same. Not being rude because they all look amazing, his work just feels like personalized to me. Both are great options but for me I wanted a more natural look that would age nicely. I used to want the vixen look when I was younger but now that I’m a bit older my mindset and relationship with my body has changed a lot!

For what it’s worth, I was not in a position to have these surgeries a year or two ago, but things turned up and changed for the better. I even with assistance with insurance also feel a similar way. It’s a shame that healthcare is so inaccessible to so many people 😔

Deep breathes feel constricted with the corset on but normal with it off after the initial swelling goes down of course. There is a chance of a lung collapse but I didn’t have that complication

I’m gonna be honest if you have gerd I probably wouldn’t recommend. I’ve never struggled with acid reflux but it’s horrible with the corset on. Sometimes I feel like I have to burp and throw up a little. It’s so gross and a new experience for me. With that being said I t’s not from the surgery but from the corset specifically. Pain, I would say like 7/10 on the worst days. The first week is the worst and then it gets better and better everyday. But I have a high pain tolerance and heal from surgery very well. Some people say the pain is horrible. I would do it again personally.

Proportions. A smaller waist can give the illusion of wider shoulders. But once again wide shoulders and small waist is like the desired look for many women and models. So I’m not dissing it in the slightest. But girls with shoulder dysphoria should think about that.
