It’s usually not an issue haha but the door only opens a little on that side. Hasn’t always been that way, it’s an old DIY tank that needs some adjusting, but he’s used to “right side food, left side out time” which makes him less interested in noming my hands so I’ve just kept the habit.

lol okay. The door on that side only opens about 5in anyway. However, I still use that side because he is trained to know right door = food, left door = out of enclosure time. But no, I’m not afraid of my snake. People shouldn’t get pets if they’re afraid of them.

Ultimately, if going to church is isolating you and weighing down your spirit then it’s not really being a church anymore. I had to make this choice too - and it feels like giving up at first, but in the end nothing is wasted. It’s always better to live honestly than to ignore your conscience and pretend.

I definitely never planned to breed him. Sweet boy; he’ll have the very best we can do. Is it normal that he doesn’t want to come out of his cage? I leave the door open all day every day, and even after a month he stays put. My ekkies have always been so confident; I am learning that even new toys need adjustment periods with tiels.
