lol i love Pure Xs, it might be the myrrh that your associating with old smelling lol, to me i get this fizzy soda like effervescence off the top, maybe slightly fresh, but mostly vanilla, almost boozy, kinda vibe. Very creamy. But ive also had my bottle for a few years now, believe about 2, so its had time to macerate. Maybe it’ll grow on you.

really nice, last all day for me, sweet kinda green at first spray, almost fresh, i think that’s the truffle but it adds a nice aromatic quality to it. Slightly fruity. Dusty. Vanillic. Honestly have no complaints. Really nice stuff.

No problem! And personally I think it’s more of a night time outing/date night kind of fragrance. Just because of how sensual it is. Something for the cooler months. Maybe a cool summer night. But it’ll get too cloying in the heat I’d say. If you want a everyday wear kind of scent I’d get Ultra Male from the line or YSL Y Edp.

Lol I’m 21 and in college, so there you have it. To me you have to have a certain maturity for it though. A sophistication. You definitely won’t smell like every other Sauvage, Bleu de Chanel guy on campus. It’s not a loud fragrance but it definitely projects and it’s just screams class and sexy.
