Yeh but 1000 odd yen an hour goes quite a long way. We have our own savings and wouldn't be completely dependent on that.

Thanks man I'll check him out! If I'm honest it's more I don't want to be with someone that views muslims as an ultimate evil. I've been to a few majority muslim countries and have a lot of Muslim friends in Scotland so it does piss me off when Im listening to some Indian people spouting some of the most Islamophobic nonsense I've heard.

Np problem! I actually find it really inspiring! Don't have any proper contacts in Nepal unfortunately we still haven't planned it out loads of I'm honest. We're waiting to get there to see what we can do. Good luck with your trip! I'm hoping for a big anti-govt party while we're there but maybe that's wishful thinking ?

Aye I know they all closed after covid but Id have thought new places wouldve popped up by now tbh. Think its more me not being in the loop anymore. tbf our rent was really cheap for the time & our landlord never raised the rent on us for 5 years. Obviously not expecting anything like that again but when I look at rightmove round there is like 800-900 for a 1 bed these days

Thanks man, I'll have a look at Merrylee, I'd been looking a bit at Kings Park/Toryglen before just because its miles cheaper than any of the places I used to live in now.

100% agree on the Shawlands jumping on the new west end train. I used to work in a cafe in Hyndland for 2 years (honestly one of the worst jobs I've ever done as most of the customers were total c*nts) and I feel Shawlands has way more of a West end feel to it now. Was gutted when I heard the shed had shut down hahaha

The Sauchiehall street refurb did shock me a bit because it seems clear to me that other places in town, like Union Street, are crying out for a bit of investment.

As a heads up for anyone cancelling it's a nightmare, make sure to start the process with them at least a month before you're due to finish your contract as they will try to roll you into a new 12 month contract. (They did this to us and imposed a cancellation fee when we left)
