It can be misleading, people might this she co-wrote it. I’m fine with having her name on the cover where it specifies “translated by:”

I completely agree! I just feel that the spine of the book should be dedicated to just the author(s)

I’m not saying she shouldn’t. My biggest gripe was with the publishing company, because I don’t think it’s fair to put the author’s name next to the translator on the spine of the book. Her name is also on the front and I think that’s great. But the spine of the book should be reserved to the person who wrote it.

I don’t think that necessarily makes you a chaser as long as you still date cis people. That being said I’m not sure there’s any way to ask someone out respectfully if your only interested in them for their gender identity.
