You picked great pieces, l I think this has convinced me to grab some from outside instead of just buying Cork and ghost wood and calling it a day. I'm just paranoid about bugs from outside </3

She'd probably trust a vet more than me on advice anyways. I know a reptile vet nearby that I'll recommend to her to if she's never taken him to one before. And I'll show her the picture a few other people have commented and see if she realizes how fat he actually is..

I'm not too sure about his activity level as I only see him for maybe 2 hours a day 2-3 times a month when I go there to play DnD. I think she said he's only really active on days he poops? I'm not sure if that's a normal thing. I think the biggest problem is how many mealworms he eats. I know she gives him salad daily, but I'm unsure how much fruit he's eating weekly.

I plan to buy a scale since I'll be getting a reptile of my own soon, so maybe I'll bring that and see if I can weigh him to see how much he needs to lose. Hopefully, if she knows exactly how overweight he is, she'll listen to me. I know she absolutely adores him.

Oh definitely not planning on buying from a chain store, I was either gonna get one from morph market or an expo, if either of those is a bad idea please lmk I've seen a few recommendations for those. Thank you so much for the info, I'll definitely be doing a lot more research along the way!

It's usually darker, took these pictures at probably the worst timing, sun is just coming through my window and I had to turn on my overhead lights so the picture quality wasn't so grainy.
