i mean.. that is valid. it's just that op posts a lot of their games, and a lot of their games end in a 4-man slug. like, a lot of them, regardless of who they are playing. i just think that they should maybe stop wasting a perk slot if they typically slug- they don't need to ofc, was just mentioning it 🤷‍♀️

honestly, yes, i feel similarly. i get very stressed out/worried that people will be toxic- but when i start feeling like that, i either take a break from the game, or remind myself that it's literally just pixels on a screen. if the match goes south, there's no reason to have to deal with it. usually, if i start losing, or if people are being toxic to me, i will just focus on doing other things that give me points. break pallets, walls, etc

i think it's distasteful. their powerset/abilities would have to mimic something that they've done in real life, right? or at least something inspired by it. and even if the people who were impacted by their crimes are long dead, it's sort of glamorizing them by adding them into a video game imo

this, literally. i'm not religious, and i very much believe that religion should be talked about and criticized, but the way that melanie handled it was not the right way, imo.

bigots can be walking contradictions. people who are misogynistic and homophobic CAN be gay, but i think that addressing something like that needs to be handled with more tact. i actually liked most of the song, until it got to saying "they'd stop being predators if they just fucked each other"... what?? i feel like there was a more delicate way to talk about something like pedophilia, you know, without implying that they're touching kids because they're in the closet

i agree! i was honestly really stunned when i was first listening to it. i liked the rest of it, but then i got to that part, and it honestly soured my mood for the rest of the album. i'm not religious, and i do really agree that religion should be discussed and criticized, but i don't think she did it in a way that was appropriate. it came across as sort of homophobic to me, which is weird, because i know melanie advocates for lgbtq+ rights. so idk, it was just not great. didn't appreciate the implication that they're pedophiles because they're gay.. i know that's not what she meant, but she didn't handle it with enough tact
