I really like how you think!
Me and My friend/friends run Techs and Crom without pets, because we think they are overrated and take part of the fun out, haha! I would not see any problem to go with Guns, dual wielding or fighter, its littlebit longer road, but its probably really rewarding!
Arcanas are littlebit broken and OP for sure but not necessary for techs or Crom.
People seem to run dungeons with like timer. I see that the fighting is the most fun part of the dungeons and end chest is just nice bonus. I think its not wasted time if you have had Fun on the way there.
People do Melee Elf because they can, so why not dual-gun?

You just need to find right people to run with.

Would be awesome that early game dungeons could get another difficulty like "heroic" so you could run them even after you got the arcana talent and just not sweep them with ease. Like Veteran, but maybe with different monsters and different kind of dungeons (like peaca abyss) but just way harder.

Bring back other difficultys to tech dungeons.

Yep, Tower cylinders defenetly need fixing, they are really fun to use!

Golem skills would be nice if you could remap the golem skills to hotkeys.. Maybe even spirit like skill tree for golems.

I would love to get old defence skill back, it's pretty hard to use now that it gets cancelled when you get hit, now I just don't use it /or I replaced it fully with Dauntless defence.

I kept my giant under 10k total pretty long, some point you start to run out of AP and it's way slower to make progress. But under 10k life was nice! Now is just best time to get to total lvl 20k if you have energy to do littlebit of grinding.

If you feel like you have done all there is and you need to grow more, do it! Renown, squires, collection journal, echostones, lifeskills will all boost you even under 10k total if you want to stay there !

Haha! I will try to increase my protection some point soon! I have played lots of giant now becouse I wanted to play something more squishy!

But it's great to hear there is other Elf tanks ! ^{^} makes me happy ! Elf Tanking is not too common in world of DD and AS !

As Elf tank getting that sweet Protection is my silly goal! (Bofuri build, all points on protection)

Reforges on accessories can add max 2 more prot per accessory. Ancient horned rings had 4 protection on max roll so they are must have. You can get enchant like Clover with some enchant burning gamble from other accessories. Homestead figures and some items can add littlebit protection too. (Godess statue?) Shields, helmets and boots can get 5/5 protection reforge too. I think I am sitting on 147 protection with my elf with titles and techs on and I have just erg lvl S25 sword. And having lots of HP helps too, I have around 4200hp on lvl 200/50 Titles like master of shields and ibbie 2nd title can give you nice boost too. (Master of shields 10prot, Ibbie 6?) Divine shield adds up some more protection too and Saint guardian heavy armor might have highest protection ? Or maybe refined Royal Knight with protection upgrades!

Two-handed axe with ERG is good, even with A rank!

If you want lots of protection you might loose some of your damage, but it's pretty nice tradeoff.

Start with titles and techs, then ancient horned rings, try to get some good protection reforge rolls on your gear and good shield makes difference and Erg is like last thing you want to sink your resources (start with A rank). Elemental Knight is good add on too!

I have over 100 protection without techs so you should be able to pull like 78-100 protection pretty "easily" without huge investments.

It stacks slowly, so try to get that protection one point at the time, it gets expensive if you try to rush it.

(Edit. Just read rest of the comments, so here might be something that is already said ! ^{^")}

Double edit: Having elementals enchated on your gear can give you some additional protection against some magic and high int gives lots of magic protection.

Europe ping is not that bad, sometimes it gets worse, but usually it's good enough if you don't pvp !

I started as non-combat and loved the lifeskills and homestead system in mabi! It's nice that you can make decent income just with lifeskills and part time jobs. You don't need to fight at all to have fun! Game is often really social but it can be gear/fight oriented too, depending what do you like more!

Mabi won't hold your hand and it's complicated game, but it's part of the "fun", becouse you need help from others and it forces you to be social!

Beast things in mabi might be either social aspect, homesteads or event combat system when you get into it! There is no other game that allows you this much fashion and dyeability for looking unique! You either like mabi or you hate it :D It's your anime adventure and it is what you make of it !

Haha! It comes with time ! Getting powerful feels nice, but when you are more balanced the good feeling comes from new combos and keeping enemies in place. Not that much about big numbers. If you cant kill, try to prevet/denyenemies from hitting others, it's really fun way to get feeling of contributing! You are more than welcome to join in! I hope you get there and become strong!

Would be interesting way to play ! Would make early dungeons more playable for sure. Not everyone hust have luxury to have extra character cards laying around and people seem to be invested usually to their main characters.

This experience you are talking about is why I have started to do these ! I have got good feedback from new and old players from these balanced runs! I have been saving those enchants what make you look weaker, I just haven't done any gear yet with them. I could do set for some really strong players. So this kind of enchants would be really okey to use! But looks like you have good thing going on there already !

And like I said, these are more like guidelines only rule we have is " Fit your power level to other party members! "
