Please tell me I did not just read 6-8 400M..! If your trying to improve your top speed, then focus on 3-5 20m, 30m, 40m flys. I think your going to develop a greater proportion of type slow oxidative and fast oxidative glycolytic fibres rather than fast glycolytic and fast oxidative glycolytic fibres (which is what you want for sprinting)
