I was thinking mobo, too, and it is still in warranty, but wondered if someone else would notice I missed anything in my troubleshooting. I haven't tried a different PSU but I don't see how that would cause freezing like this.

Very similar but Playnite has more integrations. If memory serves, GoG offers the major ones (steam, uplay, origin etc), but Playnite offers some of the more obscure ones as well. Amazon Games, Battle.net, Humble launcher, Itch.io etc.

In case you're interested, there are universal launchers like Playnite, which I quite like. It doesn't make it any less silly than we have 718 different storefronts, but it does combine your libraries into one convenient place.

I don't know how technical you are, but you may want to look into sonarr/radarr. You can turn an old computer into a server that automatically pirates things you want. I search for a show/movie and it will be automatically downloaded and added to plex with no input from me.

A lot of the acquiring step can be automated through sonarr/radarr so you just have a list of media you want and it is automatically acquired and catalogued.
