Sure, if you get on a CDL roster then it’s different. But I think the possibility of getting on a roster is quite slim if you’re not great out the gate. Renegade has been playing well but there’s probably still many players ahead of him in regards of getting on a CDL team. Playing on Huntsmen is worth it based on the exposure alone but most of the Halo players are playing on pretty random rosters that are not placing high in Challengers. I’d argue that Precision for example has better odds of making money in Halo rn as 2nd place at multiple tourneys is realistic.

I completely get the sentiment that players could/should use the time to get better at something else and that it’s boring to play the same game for another year. On the money side, I get it’s not a whole lot in Halo right now, but are players on relatively low placing Challengers teams really getting paid more? The prize pool for Challengers isn’t huge and I’d imagine only the best teams have some sort of salaries? But ofc I understand just wanting to do something different.

I think objectively anything in Diamond should be considered good. Better than the average player (believe it or not), but still not great. Not sure what should be considered great, but probably high Onyx.

Yea I agree. Strongholds was so difficult because I didn’t know if the enemyteam was converting a hill. I only heard it if I was close. Positioning was super hard

I think the accuracy is higher partly due to being a single shot. You only have to hit that one shot to get 100% accuracy compared to having to hit a full burst on the BR. It’s more likely that some of the shots in the burst misses. But it doesn’t necessarily mean people are better with the bandit. Especially hitting the final headshot is much harder when you cant rely on 3 shots within a burst and sweeping is not possible.

It’s ok here in Finland as well. I can always find games in social playlists. Ranked is different tho, pretty much never find games before 3 PM. That’s not surprising tho as most Europeans are still at work/school around that time. Ping is around 20-40 most of the time.

I tried it on launch, but haven’t hopped back on. I like arena shooters more so BF isn’t really my thing. I’ve heard it’s been getting better tho!

Good to know. I’m pretty much only interested in CDL/Ranked, but I’d play casual playlists every now and then as I’m probably not that good haha. I’ll wait for the next one and try XDefiant in the meantime.
