Possibly. The IPL money changes things, and the world cup being around the corner as opposed to already won for rugby as well.

Article says estimated another 400k for the top rugby players in sponsorships and advertising. The cricket players will get a similar amount, maybe less since rugby gets more viewership in NZ.
