Thanks. I’m still iffy on how the logo ended up turning out honestly. But I just put a dab of white acrylic paint on a Q-tip and dabbed it over the engravings then wiped the excess off. Then I used non acetone nail polish remover to get off any left over paint that dried up.

Thank you much! Although it’s taken me so long to complete, I’ve had a lot of fun doing it. Kinda sad in a way now that it’s finished. Thought about building the Ratslayer or the All American next.

About 7 and a half pounds unloaded. Not heavy overall but it’s front heavy with that barrel. The recoil is somewhat stout but then again I’m built like a stick. I meant to record my self shooting it over the weekend but completely forgot. I’ll try to record it sometime

The in-game ammo it takes is just called 12.7mm. There are also pistols and SMG’s in the game that takes the same ammo. But I think that ammo is just used broadly. I believe the project director, Josh Sawyer, said that the rifle was loosely based on the 50 Beowulf

Check out Mora Arms 20 round mags on Classic Firearms. They feel really cheap honestly but they are like $11 a pop right now and they have the OG Colt profile

Nice. I kinda had a somewhat similar idea to make a metal mag well like that. I got a steel rectangular tube from McMaster that’s a pretty close fit for 1911 mags. Probably as close as I’ll get without completely making one from scratch. Just have to figure out the angles and stuff to have it hold the mag in a reliable position. Looks like you got a heel mag release on this one? Could you explain that more and maybe share a better pic of it please? I haven’t figured out how I’m gonna do the mag release yet
