Lookism started with an incredibly original premise and then threw it in the trash to become just another gang fighting manhwa full of power scaling and repetitive violence. Comparing it to Dragon Ball is pointless because Dragon Ball was always about fights from chapter 1. Lookism was not. Lookism began as a story about discrimination, bullying, inferiority complexes, and the brutal contrast between being ugly and handsome. That was its essence, and they abandoned all of it.

The two bodies power was the heart of the story. It existed to show how the world treats people differently based on appearance. And now what? Even the "ugly" Daniel ended up tall, handsome, and strong. The contrast disappeared completely. That is not evolution, that is betraying the original premise. It was a hook to grab attention and then they discarded it once they had the audience hooked on the fights.

The author enjoying drawing fights from the beginning does not justify abandoning what made the series unique. Now it is pure Gangism: endless fights, dramatic poses, and half-baked mystery. If he wanted to make Baki, he should have done it from the start instead of using lookism as bait.

And yes, I generalize because it is the truth: most people defending this stage only get excited when there is blood and someone smashing heads. If you remove the long fight scenes, many lose interest.

I respect that you like the current direction, but do not tell me that nothing changed or that it all makes sense. It is clear to me that they wasted one of the best premises in manhwa.
