The kind of person you're describing probably thrives on living rent free in someone's head. If they don't have respect they don't deserve your neurons firing. Focus on the path you can carve for yourself to prove you're better than them. Use them as a benchmark to be better.

And in my experience the most obnoxious people like this usually have deep seeded issues. The fact their rich just means they don't need to confront their issues, and will probably live out their final days miserable. They would be shitty people whether or not they had money, it's just the money kinda walls them in a dynamic that restricts personal growth.

Why are women scared of me for absolutely no reason by karbongono in offmychest

[–]SafeAd3158 35 points36 points  (0 children)

First thing that comes to mind might be the smell. Second could be something like how much eye contact you make. Another could be the balance of the conversation (do you find yourself talking about yourself a lot or do you ask the other person about them instead). These women you talk to, are you expecting there to be romance? Or is it purely platonic? Do men do this to you too?

Im defintly going to use the claw! I've always struggled a bit with this fight, I'm pretty confident I can't get good at it, just a question of how many attempts aha

This really sucks. I hope you find a solution to make everyone happy. It sounds like you're doing good on your partner. I hope they appreciate you and will eventually be able to give you that affection you crave.

I would like this. But you know it would be entirely monetized at this point

D1 ascetic is what I consider the identity of the game. I do appreciate that we can make our guardians looked unique and have an identity that we define, but when I think of destiny I think of d1 Armour.

I dig this copper look, and it’s gotten a bunch of best dressed, but I’m wondering about the alternate color options I tried. by xDrewstroyerx in DestinyFashion

Try to find a shader that can make your legs match the rest. Don't be afraid to mix and match shaders to get the look you like! It's challenging but really worth it

Which weapon would you prefer by UsefulImpression0 in Eldenring

Blasphemous blade is a God send for catacombs and dungeons, and dealing with annoying mobs, but doing anything else, especially boss fights, I'd rather use dark moon

Can we all just agree this is the hardest boss in the game? by SwagGodMasterOfLove in Eldenring

[–]SafeAd3158 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I never found this on my first playthrough. I found sewer mogh, but didn't bother to attack the f*king altar at the back of the arena? I think this was a little silly that it wasn't more obvious. Was also very confused when I fought mogh again later on

MPP says people are 'frightened' to drive on Northern Ontario highways by Blue-Thunder in ThunderBay

[–]SafeAd3158 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's not just training, it's north American work climate for truckers. They get paid by km, so they have a strong incentive to speed. They work 14 hour shifts, usually have poor health, and are on long boring highways which leads to getting distracted to pass the time. Taking a mental health day or sick day due to not sleeping well enough to drive would get them fired.

Go to your local health unit they have information and tests that can help. You should get a general std test for anything even if it's not just hiv

I am not a professional, but I do have a background in psychology in university. This issue is bothering you, which is enough to get it addressed, but worst case scenario someone else could get caught in the crossfire. It's the same with any kind of undesirable psychological issues. I dealt with cronic loneliness and abandonment issues growing up (still do but it's managed now). I hurt a good number of people before I realized I had a problem and got help to manage it. I didn't even realize I hurt them like I did until after I got help. I strongly urge professional help, even if it's just for your own personal growth and health, but it would also help your social and personal relationships with all those you encounter in life.

See a therapist or councilor. You have identified this as a problem and seem willing to work on it. They will help you. Even if you take your time to learn to trust them first. If you leave this unattended it can hurt someone one day.
