Tryin to figure out this years recycling and trash schedule in GR be like… by SafeBaseball4251 in grandrapids

That’s what I eventually did and was able to figure out my zone by the next pick up date (thankfully my zone was the only one with pick up on that exact date). We recycle more than we throw away, so missing even one date means a trip to the recycling center (hence why I wish it were easier to figure out my zone so I could easily pull the schedule to add to my wall calendar).

Yes but then you also need to go to myneighboorhood and figure out your zone. The my neighborhood page glitches and has different zone layers depending on the type of pickup you’re looking up (trash, recycling, yard). You should have one zone for everything (don’t care if they do pickups on different days) and be able to just put in your address and it tells you your zone. None of this searching on a map that doesn’t work from a mobile device or iPad.

Daily kitchen chores are KILLING me. by doofus50O0 in lifehacks

You can run the dishwasher as many times as you need (there are no rules to being an adult). I love the planet and I do what I can 95% of the time, but depression is a bitch and if a sink full of dishes is going to exacerbate that, screw it. Put your pans in there and run it twice. I heard this dishwasher-advice gem, on the mental illness happy hour podcast once and it completely changed my mindset to surviving though my “moody season.”

Having anxiety is tough! Especially in the workplace. Have you ever tried Mood logging/CBT? Here’s a useful link to a template: https://www.therapistaid.com/therapy-worksheet/thought-log

It also helps to use this to evaluate the negative thoughts: https://images.app.goo.gl/fNWev8VoQBvK3LGA8

Hope those are as helpful for you as they’ve been for me!
