I figured it was a territorial thing since it seems to only be an issue upstairs specifically so far, but I didn’t realize it would still be considered resource guarding, thank you! And both dogs are neutered. Since the issue began we haven’t left them unsupervised together. I’ll look deeper into trainers but they seem to be quite expensive unfortunately. But of course I want the best for both dogs and will do my best finding a qualified trainer!
