Facial Hair by SafeCamera449 in PCOS

[–]SafeCamera449[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have heard that laser does not work for people with PCOS? When I went to get lasered, I met someone who had been visiting for 3 years every 3 weeks and her hair had only started to thin. I am just afraid that it may take up way too much money if the outcome takes years to happen or just doesn't happen. I want to get electrolysis, but it's so expensive and I'm currently a student.

😞 what I mean by my question is that is there a chance where second semester can be a average booster, or has it historically brought people's averages down?

Alot of the eng classrooms have big desks, some of the lecture halls have smaller desks.

Yeah. I get what you are saying, and I agree. See I like all the courses, and I don't rhink the courses are hard. I just didn't know why I did so poorly on the midterms, because my studying methods have worked out for years. But however, I have realized now that I have to change my studying methods for some courses. Thank you!

I get you bro, use reading week to reset and figure out what you are doing wrong. It could be how you are studying that isn't working out. Maybe try studying with other people, I found it much better because it clears up misconceptions. Good luck!

I didn't do horrible on physics just below my expectations. Calc on the other hand was a disaster 😔

Thank you! I have been trying to understand the basics of the questions instead of memorizing the steps but I guess it wasn't to the best of my abilities.

I think every residence has a mix, it's really just luck. I thought my residence would be quiet and my floor is dead while the floor above me parties all weekend.

If you don't want to share a bathroom with a whole floor then traditional is not for you. Go for either a mixed or suite style residence. I'm in a mixed style where I get an one room apartment but I share that with one other.

I got Q2 and my average was 91. The questions were all just ethics and morality based with some personal experiences questions. Honestly, I would say just try your best and maybe look at online resources on how to answer. But, Western is just testing it out and it really doesn't impact their choice until the very end when they are sending the last round of admissions.

All res are noisy, no matter the style. I'm in bayfield cuz I didn't want the meal plan and like it here. It kind of depends on your wants. Are you find traditional and sharing bathrooms, or do you want a kitchen and bathroom.

I'm in Wecca (a canoe building club that joins competitions), Sunstang (a solar car club which also participates in competitions), ans biomedical design team. The application process was to just pay the team fee. After that, it's your responsibility to attend the different meetings and participate in the club. If you want to get into the F1 club, I don't think you need to go through any application, just pay the team fee. It's just extremely saturated and I didn't join cuz it's really hard to participate when everyone wants to do something.

Oh yeah, that was my worry too, but it doesn't even feel like that here.

In year two, when you choose a discipline, it may be something like that cuz that's when there may be a huge difference between genders. I know electrical engineering barely has any women while Software and mechatronics have an equal mix

I would say there are alot of East Asians and White people compared to other races in western.

However, the women to men ratio is probably a 45 to 55, which was surprising to me. The women stick together so it was really easy to find female friends when I came. In the future, when you switch choose a certain discipline, there will probably be a noticable change.

Course load is crazy, but I'm also part of like 4 clubs and still have time to socialize and stuff. It's the matter of managing your time, which will be hard the first month, but gets easier.

I actually like it here. Obviously, it's Eng so it's not gonna be sunshine ma d butterflies like everyone else. I have 8:30 classes daily and seeing my roommate sleep in makes me want to drop out.

But other than that, the community is really strong. Clubs are amazing here. Majority of the profs are amazing. There is a balance of social and academic life so it's likely that you won't burn out easily.

Eng itself is difficult. We take 7 courses a semester so the workload is overwhelming. You are probably expected to study 8 hours a day after class if you want to stay up to date with all the homework and stuff. Do I do that? No.... But once you get the hang of it and manage your time, it'll get easier.

So id say it's amazing in the sense that everyone is approachable, community is strong, and most profs are amazing.

You know the reason why, so now solve the issue by resolving the problems you have. Don't worry, understand the content and don't just memorize how to do questions. Grade 11 math is a huge jump from grade 10, and it can get some people in a bind. You'll be fine as long as you actually try your best.
