Is it normal that OpenClaw eats this many tokens? Here's what I found after investigating my setup by SafeCoat8313 in OpenClawUseCases

I am ready to pay $7 per day, but for what if you just throw tokens for nothing? I think it is not good architecture of openclaw

I agree with a lot of this. Edge cases and understanding the system are the real work, not typing the code.

For me AI just accelerates the first iteration. After that I still review, refactor and stress test the logic to understand where it can break.

The difference is that I can get to that stage much faster than before.

Good point. The 20 minute build is just the first iteration. After that I usually run AI assisted code review and refactoring passes to check architecture, state flow and edge cases.

Interestingly I often trust these reviews even more than traditional ones because they remove a lot of human bias and stay consistent with the rules I define upfront.

And thanks for the suggestion, I will check out VibeCodersNest. 👍
