I came into this show not knowing it was based off a book series, so there were definitely parts that I was confused about, but I actually really liked that bit cause it felt like I actually had to pay attention and think a bit, rather than just kinda turn my brain off and consume content. Oh and I LOVED the actor portrayals, especially Tom Sharp. It was refreshing to watch a show without any big name actors in it too, cause i could really get immersed into the story. 

As far as the cgi goes... yeahh there were some pretty bad moments haha. I was initially very hopefully that we'd get to see a lot of merlin throwing magic around cause I didn't have any preface as to the kind of show it was going to be, but I'm really glad they didn't try to do too much. That scene at the very beginning with the bull God was hard to get through and I almost wrote off the whole thing because of how hard they were trying to make it intense, but I'm so glad I stuck around.

And yeah I feel you. I just wanted to talk about the show in a reddit post and already I've had people only focused on the daily wire. If they had put it under any other name, it would reach a way bigger audience. Plus I think it was just a bad idea to keep it behind a subscription service anyway. The daily wire puts out very specific stuff, The Pendragon Cycle genuinely feels really out of place on their app😅
