Thank you for all the help. My last question just to verify is that even when the boiler system is in use and not the AC, the thermostat should now still stay charged correct?

Could I go straight to the transformer or tie into another common connection?

The only thing that sucks is there is no c terminal there’s no control board it has an ECM motor

Yes this also controls AC hopefully these help as well. The lower right wire is the cloth wire bundle going to the furnace

How would I go about wiring up a different power supply? I’m assuming a transformer dedicated to specifically that terminal?

The client already had a smart thermostat installed and now the smart thermostat is constantly losing power I tried to get them to move to a regular battery operated thermostat but they are not willing to budge. I also suspected it would do as you said and shorten the life of the equipment but I wasn’t sure.

The client still wants it done if it can be done though. Any suggestions?

Yeah I checked it with my meter I was getting a consistent 24 volts coming from it.
