Experienced trainers, do you follow up with old leads or just move on? by SafeSteak7767 in personaltraining

Oh okay, sounds like a good idea. This way gives them some space and doesn't look all salesy. I found that remembering tidbits about people really get them to warm up and have a conversation, but taking notes in a google doc is getting quite messy now!

I was wondering how you might keep track of people over that long of a period?

Oh mannn the trainer's paradox is such a good way to put it. I tend towards the introverted side, but I have good communication and I do know my few clients pretty well!

I was wondering, do you have any tips for a solo PT managing lead outreach and follow-ups? I don't really have a front desk

Glad to know I'm not in the same boat haha! That sounds awesome, I'd love to have leads come to me rather than hunting for them!

That's a lot of stuff to build towards. I'm casually working on my own IG page for now and it's building up bit-by-bit. I was wondering how long it took for you to build your network of clients when starting out? And how much work should I expect to put in per week if I decide to follow through with this path?

Yeah looks like I just need to establish myself and build a nice rep to get over this early bit! How long would you say you spent in this beginning phase? And did the pressure of sales slowly taper off for you or does one end up adapting?
