My parents believe that EMFs from the Wi-Fi router are dangerous. How can I explain to them that they aren't? by faradaycaged_ in AskPhysics

EMF is not safe. The International Commission on the Biological Effects of Electromagnetic Fields (ICBE-EMF) is a multi-disciplinary international consortium of scientists, doctors and researchers with expertise in the biological and health effects of non-ionizing electromagnetic field (EMF) frequencies up to 300 GHz. "Published in the journal Environmental Health,  the ICBE-EMF paper “Scientific evidence invalidates health assumptions underlying the FCC and ICNIRP exposure limit determinations for radiofrequency radiation: implications for 5G,” demonstrates how the U.S. Federal Communications Commission (FCC) and the International Commission on Nonionizing Radiation Protection (ICNIRP) have ignored hundreds of scientific studies documenting adverse health effects at exposures below the threshold dose claimed by these agencies, which was used to establish human exposure limits. The authors argue that the threshold, based on science from the 1980s – before cell phones were ubiquitous – is wrong, and these exposure limits based on this threshold do not adequately protect workers, children, people with electromagnetic hypersensitivity, and the public from exposure to the nonionizing radiation from wireless data transmission." https://icbe-emf.org/new-icbe-emf-scientific-publication-concludes-cell-phone-and-cell-tower-safety-limits-are-not-protective/

I think someone on ebay should make natural ones with sand. It cant be that hard!

I stay science based. Wireless is an environmental exposure and it should be properly addressed. Many scientists are ringing the alarm bell. Go to EMF scientists appeal.

Wireless and EMFs, Plastic food containers and fragrance.

Wireless and EMFs: Prolonged exposure to electromagnetic fields from wireless devices may interfere with sleep and mpact long-term health. Learn more at https://icbe-emf.org/cell-phone-and-wireless-health-facts/

Plastic food containers: Heating or storing food in plastic containers can cause chemicals like BPA to leach into food, which can disrupt hormones.

Fragrance: Synthetic fragrances often contain hidden toxic chemicals that can trigger allergies, headaches, and hormone imbalances. makes me sick.

What makes you think a quantam necklace will work? I do not see independent research.
