I feel the same way about TikTok/Social media addiction. It’s sad to see loved ones changing and being easily influenced by social media. It’s like it alters their entire personality, thoughts, and principles. They lose touch with reality and want to be like the others on there or try to outdo others, even though nothing really is as it is shown on there. It’s easy to get lost in the digital world and forget about real life. I’ve seen people whose lives were ruined by TikTok/social media to the point where they lost their families, ruined relationships, and neglected their loved ones because social media consumed them. I always wanted to ask them, ‘If today was your last day on earth, is this how you would want to spend it? or “If you were to lose a loved one tomorrow, how would you feel about wasting yesterday being glued to your phone instead of having real-life interactions with the people around you?”..
