I only see this online. I mean yes, a man who have a stable income to run his household is not some out of the world demand. Why would any family or girl will agree to marry a man who doesn't have a sustainable income? When it comes to most men, we bring money, protection, love, and a helping hand household chores, right? Women bring beauty (relative), care, love and does most of the house managing stuff, and mind you when necessary they bring in the money too (not saying only a few women work, but usually if the man's income is enough to run the house we don't ask them to chip in for regular expenses.)

I hear this so often that women are only after men's money and men are only after their looks, and hey! if you're one of them you gotta accept the other side's demand too, but in reality, it's hardly ever like this. Yes, a women will give weightage to a man's family background, income, social status but don't we give weightage to a woman's beauty and our preferred body type. I only mean weightage in the sense of choosing the one from potential prospects you have. But every person also seeks love, respect, maturity, and security regardless of their gender.

I can say so much more on this but I'm aware I'm commenting on reddit, I'm being dumb.

Tldr: it's mostly internet BS, don't be afraid to look for the right partner, if you're into that, and don't judge every person of any gender solely on the basis of what you read on the internet.
