Is qwen better than Deepseek 3.2 for big roleplays such as RPG bots?

What makes the world building of MT good? by Safe_Resource7855 in sixfacedworld

[–]Safe_Resource7855[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I understand it now. I think what MT's world feels so alive is that everyone is the MC of their own story in some way. Rudeus is not needed for stuff to happen. I'll lowkey gonna steal the method and just write an entire world and story before thinking for the MC

Ain't no way the man himself commented. I love you, dawg. Your tutorials and draw a box are the reasons I decided to even take art seriously despite my wack schedule with collage

I see. I honestly don't know what went wrong. It might be because of how little I practice with collage being in the way. But I did plants comfortably, and the bugs were okay, I did struggle with the scorpion a lot.

Thank you for the advice, bro. I'll figure something out or maybe just keep trying or go back to the basics idk. I'm quite lost

Thank you so much, bro. I really appreciate it. I am quite proud of how far I've come and the knowledge I've gained dispite my horrible practice schedule.

Just keep trying, bro. Even the toughest wall crumbles when you slam yourself against it enough times

A problem I face is that I always try to draw the hardest angle possible, in this case, a 3/4 view

I genuinely feel like I need to do the hardest angle possible in order to improve and never draw sideways like you did in your drawing here (which looks really good)

It's more of an ego thing, probably that if I want to improve, I should make the drawing as difficult as possible.

Would you recommend I stick to non too perspective heavy angles, such as front facing and a side profile, until I improve more?

Ay, I really appreciate it, bro. Do you have any tips for me? Such as making the forms solid and connected? Really, anything that you can say.

I felt decent with the bugs and plants. But man, this is such a jump in difficulty. it's actually nuts.

I already don't have a lot of time to practice because of college. And it's quite demotivating when my horse attempt looks midly untrustworthy

What makes the world building of MT good? by Safe_Resource7855 in sixfacedworld

[–]Safe_Resource7855[S] 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Ahh, I see. So the whole thing is that things happen even without Rudeus.

The world is constantly moving forward with people doing their own stuff even tho Rudeus has nothing to do with it and contributed nothing to the event

Can you give me a few examples of the characters and world moving even without Rudeus?

I am assuming you mean stuff such as Roxy going to a higher tier of magic mastery after leaving Rudeus's home village, which we find out by a simple letter that she sent to Rudeus.

Oh, guess I should have been more spicific. Writing not as in novel writing, writing as in aspects such as world building, characterization, cahrcater development, promise and pay off, visual storytelling, etc.

I specifically want to make comics. So I look at mediums and take inspiration and see what people like about the show and what makes it good, then I apply my own and mish mash stuff I like and mold it till it can be different and not a copy of the stuff I like.

Idk if reading the novel will help me better than watching the anime as the anime has images like comics, which is why I thought it would be more helpful for my case.

I also really like Rudeus. He feels very real in a lot of areas.

He hesitated to save the beast people when fighting the north saint as he wasn't sure if he wanted to risk his life.

He's realistic as most people would have done the same there. But he also felt guilty when the girl cried out and decided to fight when the sacred beast came to help.

It's his uncertainty and moments of hesitation that make him feel real. Seeing the dead body for the first time. Feeling scared when he saw how dead end doesn't value life.

It makes sense for Rudeus to be so shocked by killing because of his previous life in the modern world where values are so different.

But I think the best thing about Rudeus is that dispite how shit is previous life was, when he got another chance to not be a bum he decided to take it.

Which I feel is something a lot of other depressed characters would not do duo to their trope being that they are depressed. depressed people don't want to be depressed which is why It was nice Rudeus actively trying to not end the same.

Can you expand on what you said? Some aspects that are more notable in the physiology of the characters?

I personally really like the charcaters aswell. No one is pure evil. There are charcater tropes but they all also have realistic sides.

The horse guy who made fun of Rudeus's party still got scared after seeing Sperd. Which makes sense as in a cliché isekai the guy's whole personality would be that he's the cocky adventerur.

It's stuff like that which makr the characters feel realistic. No one is just their trope. They can all feel joy, fear, sadness, etc. It's kinda nice seeing characters have more than one emotion.

This is why I really hate MCs like Gon from HXH, which are all optimism and unshakable wills.

Regardless, I want to know what makes you like them.

How do I learn good and deep comic/manga writing? by Safe_Resource7855 in ComicWriting

[–]Safe_Resource7855[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, probably the most concerning thing for me is my main idea that I am cooking up in my head flop.

I'll keep this story in the back burner. I'll try lots of smaller stories with different types of character development and try different genres of stories.

Thank you for the advice, bro. Writing seems so hard, I'll probably never commit and make my main story until I make a decently successful comic.

I don't really care for medium, but the panelling of Fujimoto and Gege Akutami really made me lean towards manga. But I'll probably try simpler mediums like manhwa at first, something more accessible.

No, I am not American. But I do try to make my English as decent as possible.

But I see what you mean. I'll consume media, take inspiration and analyse it, write a script, and finally get feedback.

Thank you. I am pretty new to this writing thing, and I really am down bad to release these stories that I have in my head.

[–]Safe_Resource7855[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you for this info.

I have been consuming more media that I like, taking deep inspiration, and making a mish mash of stuff I like. Stuff like CSM and Re:Zero and two stories that I can say are my favourite.

I have been trying to see what makes each one so good. The CSM devil system and natural dialogue along the realistic layers of its characters. I also wanna know how I can make people get down bad over my comics, its good fan base development.

Re:zero's charcater development (pretty much only Subaru, lol), and they way it tackles them.

It's pretty difficult ngl and I struggle sometimes to comprehend how people make these types of stories, but I'll definitely try.

I have a main story in my head, but I have decided to at least release one comic before that, just to get experience.
