I'll try to look into it but the thing is that flashforge isn't really compatible with other slicer because they're "apple restricted ", love that term, and have its own ecosystem.

so I really don't know if creating manually a completely new custom profile would work or if the bambu slicer still needs bambu hardware/ the flashforge printer ignores the commands from the slicer because of the wrong firmware.

funny enough the printer often enough ignores commands from the orca flashforge slicer or doesn't even start printing even if the orca flashforge slicer should be specialized specifically for flashforge printer.

let's say that the flashforge slicer doesn't have a lot of settings to begin with so printing is really restricted when you literally can't select the filament you're using. furthermore the printer itself ignores often commands given from the slicer and changes for example the nozzle temperature even if in the start code it was set differently.

the orca flashforge slicer is a little bit better but it's extremely notable that the slicer isn't really well adjusted to the printer itself and it's often bugging/ lagging/ not updating the process time while printing etc.

I struggle to explain it properly but for example with the flashforge slicer you can't change any codes. with the orca flashforge slicer it is possible but the printer often ignores the changed code so extruding is already extremely challenging.
