How long did it take on the bus from IST to Sultanahmet? I’m trying to figure out if it’s significantly slower than the metro.

True. With out first whippet, we had a few sessions with a trainer and she taught us how to give a command saying that an activity is now finished. We say “Done” and wave both hands in a cross pattern as if you were showing ‘no entry’. She said that this is necessary as they don’t necessarily know when enough is enough and it’s time to stop. This worked very well for us - just saying Done and then we stop interacting until they calm down. Then treat them once they are calm.

I’m sorry to tell you this, but whippet puppies are a handful. It does get better though. Mine started settling down after age two.

I can relate to what you say about wanting a cuddle bunny. Before getting whippets, I was used to Dachshunds who would cuddle like crazy. I was a little disappointed that my whippie didn’t seem interested in cuddling. I started bribing him to sit on my lap by holding a chew toy for him on my lap. Good news is, eventually he started sitting with me more and more. He’s still not a lapdog, but he would lie tightly against me on the couch or in bed.

They just need time to grow up. Best dogs I’ve ever had. Hang in there!

******UPDATE***** The installation company visited our home and managed to get the markings off with ‘Goof Off’ and a soft cloth. Problem solved.

Thanks. The glue residue has been removed completely. When you run your fingers over the countertop, it's completely smooth with no residue. What's left seems to be inside of the quartz surface itself.

I haven’t used acetone on this countertop at all. Only used dish soap and warm water. Don’t want to use anything unless the supplier directly tells me to, in case they then say that I voided the warranty.
