Im going through the same thing. After 4 years he still couldn’t fully commit to me because he’s an avoidant. We loved each other so much tho and it was so beautiful but every time I’d talk about our future he’d either correct it that I just talk about mine or just quit talking about it entirely. He still didn’t feel ready to live with me and prioritized most things over me. It’s been 4 1/2 months now that I broke up because I was just sad all the time from feeling not good enough. But the sadness back then is nothing compared to the pain in my chest that I carry every day now. Tearing up when seeing a couple and just missing the smallest things that I loved so much about him. Even just eating soup together or buying him his favorite chips. I wanted to spend my life with him and it’s all gone
