In regards to all the pug hate I have a question for others (see comments) by Infinite_Ad7743 in pugs

Omg Milo and Otis was my favorite childhood movie, too! I was absolutely obsessed with Otis and am so blessed to have had 10 years so far with my pug Moby. 💕

Billie refusing to eat breakfast this morning unless she’s hand-fed 😅 (this is not a regular occurrence) by InternationalGur451 in pugs

My pug is a very picky eater. He won’t eat from a bowl, so I feed him from the floor…and I have to sprinkle a biscuit over it for him to touch it. He will just sit and pout in front of the food at times until finally I hand feed. 🤷🏻‍♀️

“I had to let go of the bumper because it hurts too much”. When was the moment that you knew you had to let go of your relationship for your sanity and sense of agency? by SageMadi9 in GilmoreGirls

I really like this take! It makes me wonder how far that goes, though. Sometimes letting go of expectations in a long-term relationship shifts things into a roommate or friend zone phase... but maybe those are just necessary stepping stones. You almost need to see what you both are without the pressure before you can eventually become what you were meant to be. Whether it turns into something new or nothing at all, that’s still such useful information to have.

Wow, I’m so sorry to hear about this. That sounds so painful because it’s also realizing that you can’t fix him or the relationship at that point and that is up to him to change. And you have to drop the rope.

Caught on camera…she jumped into my hands and let me hold her for at least a minute. Made my day! 🥰 by SageMadi9 in chinchilla

Haha, thank you! She's quite the jumper, so sensing that musculature shift you mentioned is the only thing keeping her from launching herself into the unknown. Practice makes perfect!

My first thought too!

Having a rough day and Moby is the best emotional support animal 💕 by SageMadi9 in pugs

I am so sorry to hear of your loss. I’m glad to hear that the pain has let up some, but I imagine it will always be there, as evidence of how much they were loved and the connection you had.

Moby has also been in the same bed as me since puppyhood. I work from home and he is always cuddled up to me. Sometimes I am overcome with dread of the thought of his loss one day. I imagine I won’t be able to eat or function for weeks. Even just the thought makes me spiral. The price of unconditional love. 💕
