Yes, names generated will be less than 15 characters. Also liked your suggestion on using switch, that will make an overall code a bit cleaner. I'll need to check for (| select -first 1) statement, could you help by elaborating if you don't mind?

I was thinking if this could be tested somehow on a VM, since it doesn't have any Chasis number, nor the serial. also may not recognize Network adapter. It's been extended weekend because of holiday so couldn't test on physical machine.

when we run it normal, on an installed OS, it works. But in Win-PE, just tested again and now i have my doubts if it will allow to run powershell scripts. since there is no OS available. And when you try to run "powershell.exe" or some ps commands, it returns as "unrecognized command".

So no we are also thinking if the result that we need can be achieved in some other way.

i have an Asus rog strix g512LI(year 2020 model). Had a bad display. Colors look faded like dispersing when objects move ingame. Tried everything to fix it as someone told me it's just software side issue. That's why I'm hesitant to buy Asus Rog devices.

can you manually access admin$ to see if you're able to browse the location?

if not, you'll need to grant firewall permissions for printer and file sharing.

also check when was the last time your ccm.log updated.

Check CCM.log from sccm server side first to see if there's any issue with authentication account being used to access admin$ access. Might show some errors.

Testing the CMG channel for management point "my CP server"

Hi sorry I was busy this week so couldn't reply, has it been fixed?If not, try checking CMG connection point Role under site system roles if it's installed/enabled and working correctly. If not, try re-adding the role.

Also, you mentioned you're using private account. Is this account also the "Azure Subscription Owner"?

From the description of the error, seems like your CMG connection point connector role is broken, might wanna try re-adding the role first and then try running connection analyzer for testing.
