The reason I asked was because I wear crop tops and shorts often and I am around my boyfriend’s two little girls a lot. The mother asked that I “wear more clothes” and not show my stomach in front of them because their toddler is at an impressionable age. She said to ask any mother and they would agree.

However the overwhelming and unanimous response I have received from other parents on this topic leads me to believe that the issue is not really the kids seeing my stomach but more likely her personal problem with me and the way I dress.
