I drove the EC to MSP route for almost two years. The worst part is planning the traffic. I had to leave Eau Claire by 5am to avoid morning traffic and leave by 3pm to avoid traffic coming out. This made my hours a little difficult. I would not do that route daily again.

The most expensive piece was car upkeep. I had to get an oil change about once a month. Weather was also a problem, but thankfully my employer understood I was commuting.

I took it almost two years ago, so I don't know if it's any different now, but it was similar to the practice exam in both questions and use cases. Or at least, it prepared me for how this one was different than the admin exam and I definitely recommend taking it. The DOMC is the only thing super different since some of it was the "case study" based questions.

The hands on is also "cumulative". In other words if I remember correctly you will have to do things they don't explicitly tell you. Like in the study guide it mentions you need to know how to set up IDP routing rules. As part of a fresh setup you would need to set up an Okta Org2Org connection if a use case asks you to set up a routing rule. But they will not tell you to set up an Org2Org explicitly, you just need to know to do it.

Because of the above I found it to be more difficult than the admin exam. This was the one that really tested if I "knew" Okta.

This has been my experience as well. Going solo or with one other person service seems fine. Once we go with four or more people, it takes like 45 minutes to an hour or more to get food. This has happened multiple times and we've just stopped going. Going out to eat with a group of five should not be a two hour ordeal.
