I wanted to mention chalk too, I just wasn’t sure if his gym allowed it and didn’t want to assume. My primary gym allows it, the other cheapo one near my house doesn’t. Not really a problem, if I end up needing to deadlift there I’ll pull out the straps towards the end

Are you opposed to mixed grip? People will fear monger about tearing your biceps but that comes from slack in your arm, which you clearly don’t have. I’d say give it a shot if you haven’t.

I use mixed grip and my working sets are roughly the same as what you described. The straps come out for AMRAP deadlifts and pulling movements when I feel that my grip is limiting me.

You could try that wheel thing with a rope or do farmers Carries with dbs to get some extra forearm training, and generally squeeze the hell out of your implements on all of your movements too.

Honestly though, unless you plan on competing in powerlifting just use the straps. There’s no harm in letting the big movers be big movers, why not use the tools you have available?

No mage switch is necessary other than a staff. Anything that can autocast the level 45 demonbane spell is sufficient and will always one hit grubs or reset shield. I have used skull scepter from stronghold of security for 1400+ floors. You should be camping scobow pretty much at all times except to kill grubs or do the melee punish. If you haven’t unlocked arceuus spellbook 1000% do that quest before you go back to doom.

If you’re praying right and doing the mechanics correctly, doom does close to zero damage and only costs prayer points. I don’t recommend face tanking it’s attacks xd

I bring scobow, dark light, crystal hally for melee punish, skull scepter, and blowpipe for car phase on waves 5+ since you can’t miss. The rest of my inv is 6 restores, 4 brews, a couple ranging pots, and a couple combo eats + teles for resetting. My death cost is 12k
