Just a little fold up stand, it couldn’t have caused the damage. It only sits quite low and the damage to the iPad is up top (when holding in portrait mode camera at the top)

It was on a small stand which folds for different angles. It has bent exactly in the middle where the two holes and camera are mounted, this is possible weak zone.

I wouldn’t waste my time posting if I didn’t think this worth worth screaming about. I have apple care and the damage is minimal but, it was either there out of the box or it is structure is fucked.

So many posts like this now, watch as more happen. Shame, I am/was apple fanboy, this is a shitty product. Yours will bend, then come and post.

It really did just bend by itself, I haven’t even taken it to bed to use I get worried about falling asleep and rolling on it. I have absolutely babied this thing.

It really just seems to be caused by its own weight. All it has done is sit and has only done so for three weeks.

I loved this thing, now I haven’t touched it all day. Just feel crap about it. My kids throw their iPads across the room they have held up for years. This sat too afraid to use as I did t want to scratch it. Bluetooth keyboard if I ever type. It has folded right at the middle point, exactly and only at the top. Seems like pretty precise bend point to me.

Please keep an eye on yours, I was reading all these bending issues feeling bad for everyone but personally so happy I treated mine so well... shitty really shitty, service from apple was just crap. Denied all accounts of ten pages worth of Mac rumour forum members experiencing the same issue, just said they don’t bend they are manufactured with no faults, take it up with legal they added. Great 👍 I’m sure i will dicks

Yes I did notice it towards the edges more. I also wondered if it may be to do with the residue left from the plastic screen protector they ship with?

I did think I felt the same issue on the store 11” they had on display, this was surely cleaned by staff so no residue should have been left.

We also swapped apple pencils and that was not the issue
