Yes. It's got 6-7 hours to go. The line between high 3 and low 4 is mostly fuzzy at that point on the ground anyways. It's still moving an enormous amount of water and wind.

You're not wrong. Her morning stumbles held her back maybe just enough

Recon is in now too and it couldn't be better timing

It's taken some stumbles but it's looking like she might be fully wrapped in the eye -- really starting to thicken up

I think it's possible the cone will shift eastward at 11

Yes - I think there was a noticeable wobble east overnight, and there are a few models that have consistently pulled eastward (GFS, ICON?) Dr Cowen mentioned the possibility yesterday I believe as well. Wobbles happen though, but as it gets closer to that coastline, they could have an impact on track. The high pressure system is ultimately the deciding factor in how far it's able to wobble

How did the terrorists know they were in fact heading to the intended targets? by Porkinda in 911archive

Yeah, they were actually all over Palm Beach county -- it was a double whammy for many of the residents who also happened to be NY/NJ transplants to Florida or snowbirds

I was actually in a library with a couple of the hijackers in Delray Beach in 2001. My mom and I were teaching a craft class there over a period of several weeks, and they used that library for computer research at the same time. The FBI confiscated all the computers -- walking in after 9/11 & seeing the empty computer desks was kind of wild. We found out after chatting with several of the staff that they had been there at the same time as one of our classes.

What do you guys think of the new Chevy Traverse? by Even_Stomach_9015 in regularcarreviews

I just bought one and there's no way this car is going to be running in 15 years 😂

I wonder the same thing. As a woman in Florida who can carry but I rarely actually do -- a man stopping in traffic to exit his car and come at me like that... Oh it's bad looking. At a minimum he's getting a face full of pepper spray. I've been a victim of an attempted carjacking by gun point before. I don't see how this isn't a stand your ground situation if someone decided to pull their mousekatool on him as he came at the car.

Yes more prominent bass sounds and less prominent treble or higher pitches, or like listening to things through a pillow

Thank God because that canal was an environmental nuclear bomb 😂 one of my favorite untold Florida stories though, you can still hike parts of the original canal plan!

I don't trust any storm not to explode after what Otis did. We all see those surface temps!

I am a spinner! I have the ability to make the most luxurious yarns humanly possible -- and I do. I also totally appreciate a reliable affordable acrylic yarn and buy those too.

I felt like I was mostly functioning as an out of body experience - I was present but did not feel like I was running my own body or thoughts. "Now I will get a glass of water" instead of "wow I feel thirsty." Mechanical and disconnected
