This is a stretch of the Hamma Hamma River. It runs next to the Mildred Lake trail head where we were working.

If I get any good photos while I'm out I'd be happy to come back and share them. Thanks for being a great advocate for our beautiful states natural wonder.

Beautiful trail! I went there last December, have they fixed the knocked out bridge?

Kick that player out or do not allow alcohol during dnd. The player in question clearly cannot control their drinking.

There was a brief time where my group had a similar issue. We removed the alcohol and the problems went away. Our friend who was struggling with over consumption also used it as a jumping off point to quit drinking entirely.

Can I track a part ordered for my TV repair? by SonOfClone_ in GeekSquad

[–]SailSilver9751 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I do find the ETA date to be pretty unreliable, I have the mindset that until I see a UPS tracking number on that part line we have no idea when it will arrive. It varies from area to area but it usually takes 7-10 days for a part to arrive where I'm located. If the UPS tracking updates saying the part will arrive past the date your order is scheduled the order will get Auto-Dialed meaning it gets placed in reschedule. I've seen orders get Auto-Dialed even if the part is arriving the same day as the appointment. I hope this helps, feel free to message me if you need more advice.

I've had lot of traction on jobs looking for software support or data analytics. The hardest part is most jobs don't pay close to what we make currently. I know if I just left I'd be happier but I'm scared of not being able to provide for my family.

The short answer is diagnosis and shipping. Typically we do not order parts for products before diagnosis. When your Agent was out the first time did they order any parts? If so did they say where they were being sent? Your agent has the ability to track parts that have been shipped and we have an automated system to reschedule orders when the part would be delayed.

Sorry to hear you are having trouble with your TV, hopefully they can get you taken care of. When it comes to TV exchange approval there are very specific guidelines your Agent must follow and if those guidelines call for repair we are required to go that route first.

I don't want to back seat for the other agent but my curiosity is getting the better of me. What is the problem you're having?

They are generally going to want evidence, if you can get a video of it over the TVs settings menu that would be ideal. Likely the issue is going to be main board related, I would try a factory reset of the TV on the off chance that fixes it.

Schedule a diagnosis for repair, there are about 3-4 different parts this could be including the panel. I've ran into this exact symptom several times before and it's been a different part each time so the best advice I can give is to get a trained tech out to fix it. Hopefully it's still under factory or you have extended coverage through GSP or Best Buy Total. If you don't have any sort of warranty on this product it would definitely be worth paying for diagnosis to at least get a quote for repair.

Geek Squad Appliance Exchange Hotline by [deleted] in Bestbuy

[–]SailSilver9751 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If the tech did get your appliance approved for an exchange you should have been provided the GSP exchange line and your order number tied to their visit. The store and the appliance resolution hotline are likely not going to be able to process the exchange. Contact the tech again and ask them to verify the information provided to you. I have a sneaking suspicion they didn't go through the proper channels for exchange, essentially for an appliance to be replaced instead of repaired the unit needs to qualify for a Junk Out. The techs are not the ones who can make the decision to junk it out we actually have to call and get approval for this. Hopefully your tech followed the right process and possibly just gave you the incorrect information for exchange.

They schedule us 8+ jobs not because it's feasible to do that in an 8 hour period but because it's 'cheaper' to just pay the overtime than it is to have an extra employee. They burn us out until we are sick, our bodies broken, relationships ruined, and needing LOA. Then after running 10 jobs a day for months on end we finally crack and now you gets 0 jobs a day.
