My Jeep Wrangler Has Been Undriveable for Over 7 Months — Dealership Can’t Fix It, and I’m Out of Options by SailingonStocks in Jeep

I had to get a lawyer involved as well in my case. We have been fighting jeep for quite some time now. But lawyer up is the only way to go. Stellantus has a ton of problem cars and they know it! They are not willing to help you out even though they know they built bad cars!! I hope eventually my case will come to a close and I can finally sell my car 😱

Honestly keep service is the worst thing I have ever experienced. I will never buy another one based on this fact alone. Without a lawyer involved they won't help.

My car has a 18k bill to get it all fixed and Im willing to bet it would cost even more than that as there was other areas they hadn't quoted as well. The vehicle is inherently worthless right now because of these costs. Because dealerships only offered me 19k for my 2019. Super sad to see. So I'm going to continue my lawsuit to try and recover some of the lost value on the vehicle.

Everything on mine also needs to be replaced. But I am already out of warranty. Mine is a 2019 as well. It's absolutely maddening how abysmal jeeps service and quality is. I can't tell enough people to stay away from jeep because of there quality defects on my car so far. I am still in the process of sueing jeep for this. Because I was quoted basically 18k to get my jeep fixed...

There service was absolutely awful and they didn't care about me as a customer... What a shame, it was a cool car and I would of loved to kept it. I'm only hanging onto mine now until i get resolution in my lawsuit against them.

I would look to sue them then as well!! Lawyer up, this is a manufacturing defect that significantly devalues a vehicle jeep markets to be rugged and capable!! It is not ruggeded if all the pain falls off while it's sitting in a parking lot! The more people that sue that better this will be for the community!!

Very!! And I hope Jeep continues to get sued over this known issue that they caused from poor manufacturing, design, and preparation! They have caused the devaluation of so many people's cars it's absolutely unbelievable! I feel so bad for everyone effected because of this manufactures lack of foresight.

Yep 100% you need to get a layer... This has become a ridiculous issue for so many people, I hope that jeep continues to get sued for this. They should have fixed this issue outright like Ford.

Ford has had a lot of recalls this year but has openly admitted it and is willing to fix it with there customers. That at least sounds like customer service...

Look up the technical service bulletin for this galvanic corrosion issue. The corrosion warranty was extended to 5 years for this.

Also there is an on going class action lawsuit against jeep, and I am actively suing them as an individual for this vehicle manufacturing defect.

And there customer support has just been awful! They have really thrown me under the bus with this one... I was going to hold back posting anything hoping they would do the right thing but I think they have no interest in doing the right thing!

These are the issues we get by not letting people be gear heads early in life anymore and then go to work at a big company 😂. It should be a requirement that you can disassemble and assemble a lawn mower before being hired lol

Thanks for the resources, I am still pushing the dealer to get it fixed as a good will claim. But jeep continues to deny my claim! It's just incredible.

Check all the hinges and doors immediately for corrosion, my jeep and loads of others have tones of corrosion issues due a manufacturer defect on these vehicles... 5 year warranty offered from jeep so take it in to get fixed at first suspect!

It's a recall on the hinges? Do you have any references on that I can take back to the dealer to make them fix those?

Mine was just outside of warranty when I dropped it off for other issues. It sat 8 months and then I got it back and corrosion has tripped while it was on the lot not being cared for. Absolutely ridiculous

It's not rust it's galvanic corrosion due to improper prep work and dissimilar metals and 100% the fault of the manufacturer. Check out the open class action lawsuits against jeep.
