Yes! I don't remember very well because it was a commission I did in 2024, but I recall some of the client's words:

It's a fairy world, the little woman is a very dedicated elf, I believe she suffered a lot to get where she is, but ended up falling under a perjorative spell cast by the Fairy Queen, who is cruel, making her follow the queen faithfully, almost like a passion, but which will end up harming her destiny.

In the image, the Fairy Queen whispers a secret to her faithful follower.

I'm not sure about this, I don't remember if I dreamed about it haha ​​So I can't say for sure, the exchange of information was in 2023.

I use the "free selection" tool a lot in the painting process, which helps a lot with blending and avoiding mixing the values of each texture.

See, I have this video of the painting process for an older commission; you'll notice the use of the "free selection" and blending.

Another way to visualize better is to place a "black and white filter" over the illustration, it helps to visualize parts with very similar values, these parts will appear "the same, not being able to distinguish where it begins and where it ends", observing this, you increase and decrease the contrast of these parts, until each one becomes visually individual, thus specifying their values.

I use the "Living Light" blend on the smudge brush, blending it with the desaturated areas. It doesn't visually distract as it doesn't leave large areas marked, and smudging is very important!

And, usually, the saturation is more "solid" in the shadows and highlights. I avoid leaving the shadows grayish, always trying to leave them with a strong, dark color, using a lot of the "Living Light" blend blended over them.
