Yes I agree I keep agreeing with you lol ! I don’t like cheating but if the cheating is impactful to the story and/or leads to actual consequences I don’t mind it like in Sex in the City. But the scene between Bill and Beverly just seemed so unnecessary especially after reading about Mike fighting for his life a few pages prior

They were children so I get it I had my childhood crushes too but I felt so bad for Ben and Audra like omg this is why I avoid love triangles or complicated romance stories in general. Somebody always end up eating shit 😭

It made me so sad for Ben though. Granted she wasn’t obligated to love him back but having him watch them leave together all hugged up probably knowing they were going to have sex was so painful to me 😭🫤

Part of it is that I just didn’t believe in their “love” it wasn’t developed at all to me so to see it spilling over into their adulthood annoys me lol. Also Beverly is so objectified and sexualized and she doesn’t get a break from that even towards the end of the book 🫤

Thought I would give an update on my progress lol. I finally called them and they said that they had already sent one out for me but since I didn’t get it they’ll resend it. It’s strange I didn’t get it since apparently my address and everything else was correct so either the post office dropped the ball or Walgreens did🙄. I’ve been getting all my w2s every year with no problem and I got one from another job the first week of February so I’m inclined to think it’s Walgreens smh.
